After the record-breaking release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon this weekend, it’s no surprise that yet another teen creature romance is set for release: Beastly, a modern-day version of the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale, adapted from the novel by Alex Flinn.

Alex Pettyfer stars as Kyle, a handsome high school heartthrob who transforms into a beast.  Vanessa plays the beauty, Linda, who falls in love with Kyle.  The film also co-stars Neil Patrick Harris.

A brief 23-second teaser trailer for Beastly can be viewed at the link below.  Produced by CBS Films, the fantasy film will be released on July 30, 2010.
