With the upcoming Solomon Kane and a new version of Conan in the mix, it seems that the work of Robert E. Howard has grown popular.  His character, Kull, is set for the big screen thanks to Paradox Entertainment.

The character is a native to the legendary Atlantis and was the predecessor to the Conan character, as evident in their similar physical appearances and the fact that the first Conan story, The Phoenix on the Sword, was a retelling of a Kull story, By This Axe, I Rule.

Kull was last seen onscreen in the 1997 film, Kull the Conqueror, starring Kevin Sorbo as the title character.
