Michael Scott’s six-part series, The Secrets of The Immortal Nicholas Flamel, will be brought to the big screen thanks to producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who helped bring the Harry Potter film franchise to life.
Nicholas Flamel, a real-life alchemist born in 1330, was mentioned as a character in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Scott’s series, however, takes a different route by having the immortal man go on adventures with fifteen year old twins named Sophie and Josh.
The first book, The Alchemyst, will be the first to be adapted whereas the fourth book, The Necromancer, will be released in May.
